The Loop 360 bridge park on Lake Austin is a perfect place to spend the day fishing, barbecuing, or enjoying the scenery along the water's edge.

Launch your ski, fishing or pontoon boat and head east for some of the best views of the Austin landscape. Kayaks are also welcome, some of the biggest bass in Lake Austin have been caught from a Kayak. If you will be fishing the lake, ensure you purchase a Texas Park and Wildlife fishing license from a local vendor.

The park is well located; It's a perfect place to stop if you are visiting the area and are spot-hopping among other popular Austin landmarks and parks. Nearby parks and landmarks include Mount Bonnell (best views in Austin),  Emma Long Park (especially if you want to camp by the water overnight), Laguna Gloria (just beautiful) and Bull Creek Park (a very cool dog friendly park on the creek). For more information on other Travis County Parks, see the Travis County Park Interactive map page

Popular nearby local eateries include County Line BBQ (great BBQ on the lake), Mozarts (best place with a view for dessert and coffee), Hula Hut (a must stop if you've never been), Hat Creek,  Rudys BBQ and Waterloo Ice House, all within about 5-10 miles of the park.
